Five Pictou County Lacrosse players Drafted in East Coast Junior Lacrosse League
 
Pictou County had an exciting night at the East Coast Junior Lacrosse Leagues draft which was held on January 30th. As the 2019 Draft unfolded, players from all across Nova Scotia watched as a number of Pictou County Lacrosse players were drafted through the 13 round draft process.
 
The St Margaret’s Bay Rebels selected Keegan Walker in the sixth round, while
Round 8 had Mi’kmaq Warriors select Evan Talbot and the Rebels also selected Ethan Myers.  
 
In round ten, two more Pictou County players where selected with the Warriors selecting Kalem Maloney and the Halifax Hurricanes picking up Aiden Leblanc.
 
The ECJLL season starts up at the end of April, and Pictou County is excited to be able to cheer on these hometown players.
